Last month I had a booth at the Chittenden County Humane Society’s annual Walk for the Animals fund raising event. Here is the cover: Books, t-shirts, and so forth can be ordered via the AnotherDayComics.com web site.

Welcome to the "Another Day Comics" web site.
This cartoon strip emerged from the following circumstances:
- First, the cartoonist is time-challenged and couldn't make time to complete an animated film once out of art school. The necessity of getting a job (dishwashing, waitressing, data entry) and putting together a life (Chinese take-out and a video) interfered with creative productivity.
- Second, each time she made a storyboard for a film she lost interest in actually making the film (chronic lack of follow-through).
- Third, a roommate's friend came to visit, and he was a "real" artist who spent his days exploring the city and sketching his daily activities in a cartoon-style journal (stole the idea).
- Fourth, a perceptive friend suggested that perhaps the storyboards were the work of art, and to let them be (whacky concept).
- Fifth, it was in the era of self-improvement, introspection, self-help, and dubious therapy practices that involved shouting at pieces of furniture (90's, New Age).
What was a slothful introvert to do?
